Kandinsky circles

Ruma Toru enjoying painting today. We learnt that art does not have to be perfect, it is how you interpret it. We are designing our own Kandinsky circle artwork. Kandinsky was a Russian artist and he believed that colour and shape alone could be art. We are learning that art does not have to be perfect, it is how you interpret it.

Miss M starts teaching us!

This week Miss M has started to teach us, she will be in our class until the end of the term. She is learning how to be an awesome teacher.

We have been learning how to plan our stories using a cool website to help us.

We have also been doing some pāngarau.

Tā Mātou Haerere ki te Tāone Nui.

Yesterday the Trekkers went on a trip into the centre of the city to look at the old buildings, new buildings, street art and the empty spaces. We took lots of photos and used our map skills to navigate our way around the streets.
